Associated papers include correspondence to the probate judge from pensioners, receipts of pension received, postal receipts for pensions mailed, and receipts and correspondence related to the payment of funeral expenses for pensioners.  The associated papers are filed with their related pension roll.  The 1893 pension roll also includes a list of recipients of the 1893 Artificial Limb Fund. Three separate files of funeral expenses for Ellen Gist, Augusta Tate, and Carolina Thomas are found at the end of D5175.  In form the series consist of loose rolls and volumes of recorded rolls.  No pension rolls are available for 1895-1904 and 1912-1918.
