SUMMARY SCOPE NOTE:  This series consists of a daily accounting of prisoners' locations, including work details out of the penitentiary, in the hospital, and at farms.  Some volumes name prisoners discharged or otherwise added or subtracted from the count.  Information includes dates, locations, and numbers of prisoners.  There are numerous gaps prior to 1899, and a single gap from March 6, 1922 to April 1, 1923.
