SUMMARY SCOPE NOTE:  This series consists of a ledger detailing the receipts and expenditures of the Fibercraft Chair Company which operated a plant at the prison.  This company was considered a subcontractor and was allowed to set up a shop and use prison labor to make their product.  In return, the state penitentiary received a share of the profits.  Information includes date, name of account (payer or payee), check number, total amount of receipt or expenditure, and type of expense (materials, supplies, freight, salaries).
