SUMMARY SCOPE NOTE:  This series consists of an accounting of work at the state penitentiary's shoe shop.  This volume contains three separate lists.  The first is a list of shoes produced for customers outside of the prison population.  Information includes name of customer, date, type of work, and cost.  The second list details work done (primarily repairs) for convicts.  Information includes date, type of work, prisoners' numbers, and cost.  This volume also contains a list of convicts who worked in the shoe shop from April 1873 to March 1876.
