SUMMARY SCOPE NOTE:  This series consists of drafts of exhibits used in the department's printed annual report.  Exhibits deal with statistical information about the prison population.  Information includes prisoner name and number, age, sex, race, offense, and sentence.  Only a random selection of prisoners is listed.  The 1870 volume also contains a list of expenditures by various prison departments and lists department, type and amount of goods purchased, and amount of expenditure.

 

GENERAL NOTE:  The 1870 volume is considerably damaged.
