ARRANGEMENT:  1954-1958 arranged chronologically.  1955-1970 arranged chronologically by year and thereunder by earliest parole or admission date.

 

SUMMARY SCOPE NOTE:  This series was used to record parole and other general information on the inmates.  It consists of bound ledger books which reflect date of discharge, name, number, color, sex, term of court, county, judge, crime of which convicted, term of sentence, when sentence began to run, and remarks (generally whether parole was granted).  This series also records similar information on newly admitted prisoners.  Volume 1955-1970 also contains a list of male prisoners serving life sentences.
