SUMMARY SCOPE NOTE: This series consists of monthly reports
which detail
the operations of the Dept. of Corrections. All of
the reports contain extensive statistical data including summaries on the inmate
population at each prison facility. The earlier reports also include names
of prisoners about to be released. The later reports contain more in depth
information on the goals and achievements of the various
divisions. This series covers fiscal years 1963-1964, 1965-1966 through
1967-1968, December 1986, January 1987, February 1994, February through October
1995, and December 1995 through September 1996.
ASSOCIATED MATERIAL: Additional monthly reports are filed with
the series, Minutes and Meeting Files of the Board of Corrections.
